A Team-Building Trip to Marvelous Xiamen

On June 2nd, more than 1300 employees and relatives of Jieli Cosmetics Group embarked on a three-day journey to Xiamen, a charming coastal city famous for its cultural heritage and natural scenery. Leaving behind busy work schedules and bringing their families, Jieli colleagues are ready to explore new horizons, strengthen their bonds, and have fun together.

The first day of the trip was dedicated to exploring a unique cultural and creative village in Xiamen, called Zengcuoan. With a history of over 300 years, this village has retained much of its traditional architecture, customs, and crafts, but also infused new vitality thanks to the booming tourism industry. Visitors can wander around the winding lanes, buy souvenirs, taste local snacks, and admire the artistic fusion of old and new. Jieli staff enjoyed strolling along the beach, taking photos, and bonding over shared interests.

The second day was packed with visits to two iconic landmarks of Xiamen. In the morning, the group went to Nanputuo Temple, a renowned Buddhist temple founded in the Tang Dynasty.          With elegant buildings, lush gardens, and a serene atmosphere, it attracts many pilgrims and tourists from home and abroad. Jieli staff participated in a Buddhist ceremony, learned about the history and culture of the temple, and posed for a group photo. In the afternoon, the group headed to Kulangsu, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its colonial-era architecture, scenic beauty, and artistic ambience. The island is restricted to motor vehicles, so visitors can enjoy a peaceful stroll, listen to music from street performers, and feast on seafood delicacies.          Jieli staff also had some team-building activities, such as solving puzzles, making sand sculptures, and singing songs.

The third day was a green adventure. The group visited Wanshi Botanical Garden, a vast natural reserve home to thousands of plant species, including some rare and exotic ones.          With a tropical climate and mountainous terrain, the garden offers a refreshing retreat from urban hustle and bustle. Jieli staff went on a hiking trail, identified various plants, and learned about the ecological significance of the garden.

After three days of exploration, relaxation, and teamwork, Jieli staff returned to their daily lives with renewed energy, deeper connections, and unforgettable memories. The trip to Xiamen not only showcased the charm and diversity of this city but also showcased the spirit and culture of Jieli Cosmetics Group. By walking the same steps and reaching the same destination, they proved that teamwork is not just a slogan, but a way of life.
